Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not be released on Steam, according to the new announcement. The game is one of the most anticipated games in Ubisoft for 2023, so it was fairly disappointing news for fans of the franchise.
After several years of releasing an RPG-focused gameplay, Assassin’s Creed Mirage promised to be more like the original games. The game is set in Baghdad with the assassin Basim as the protagonist, with the game coming back to its roots focusing on parkour and stealth.
Unluckily for PC players who only use Steam, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not be there on its launch. Players will be able to play Assassin’s Creed Mirage on Epic Games Store or through Ubisoft store. The game’s pre-order is currently open for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Amazon Luna, and PC through Epic Games store and Ubisoft store.

Ubisoft has not made any announcements on making it available on Steam at a later date or not.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage follows a disappointing year for Ubisoft after losing 18 percent in revenue compared to 2021. In one year, their revenue dropped from $2.31 billion to approximately $1.97 billion.
The release of the title will be a big event for Ubisoft, and the paid exclusivity may sell a lot less in PC due to not being in the most popular platform.
The Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s new trailer showed a fast-paced action with several stealth portions of the game in the Middle-Eastern city of Baghdad, as well as the feel of being like the old games of Assassin’s Creed.
Watch the trailer below and take look into Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
