MANILA, Philippines – Successful South Korean series ‘It’s Okay Not To Be Okay’ will be having a Philippine adaptation under Kapamilya Network starring Anne Curtis.
The primary cast members for this series include Seo Yea Ji, Kim Soo Hyun, and Oh Jung Se. ABS-CBN has recently revealed plans to create a Philippine adaptation of this widely popular and successful series. The local version will feature Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, and Carlo Aquino in the lead roles.

The idea of Anne portraying Ko Mun Yeong has generated excitement among Kdrama enthusiasts. Additionally, it is no secret that the Kapamilya actress was captivated by the Korean series, as she had openly praised its beauty in one of her social media posts.
In the previous year, speculation took place regarding Anne’s involvement in this series. Before this, Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil were initially approached to star in the Filipino adaptation of the popular Kdrama.
“It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” is a Korean drama centered around two siblings, Moon Gang-tae and his elder brother, Moon Sang-tae. The older brother grapples with Autism Spectrum Disorder, necessitating the younger brother to assume responsibility for his care following the loss of their mother.
The arrival of Ko Mun-yeong, a children’s book author, introduces transformative elements to their lives. Subsequently, a romantic relationship develops between Mun-yeong and Gang-tae.
Meanwhile, the Philippine adaptation of ‘What’s wrong with Secretary Kim?’, will be released next year, starring Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino. This is their next project together after doing “Linlang” where their chemistry was discovered
