Acoustic Trench shared an acoustic cover of ‘What A Wonderful World’ alongside his late pet Maple as he announced the passing of his golden retriever companion

Acoustic Trench announced on his Facebook that Maple has recently passed away.

“It is with a heavy heart to write this, Maple passed away last night. Maple has been my best friend over these past 12+ years and the bond we shared is indescribable. I feel so very lucky to have had her in my life. My heart aches. I love you Maple,” he wrote in the caption.

Acoustic Trench and Maple, the talented dog who sometimes played instruments, rose to fame online for their short guitar covers on Vine. Both quickly amassed an audience that followed them even after the six-second video platform has been defunct.

Fans across social media platforms sent condolence messages, expressing their thanks for the beautiful musical covers the musician has created along with his late pup.
