The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Department (CDRRMD) – Oro Rescue has collected “a healthy Reticulated Python” Monday night, May 10, in Barangay Camaman-an.
A concerned citizen has spotted the 2-meter-long snake and notified the CDRRMD Oro Rescue.
The Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team captured the snake that weighs about 10 kilos and has safely turned it over to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region X.
Kagay-anon, if you encounter a snake or any wildlife animal, leave it alone and immediately call 911 so we can organize highly trained rescuers to help.
