Cagayan de Oro City reported 128 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, May 10, 2021.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 128 new confirmed cases over the weekend of May 8-9.
BREAKDOWN: On May 8, the city logged 74 new confirmed cases, of which 18 local cases with links, 25 local APORs, and 31 local index cases. Meanwhile, on May 9, the city has recorded 54 new confirmed cases, of which 31 local cases with links, 10 local APORs, and 13local index cases.
With this, the city has a total cumulative of 5,430 COVID-19 cases.
Out of the total cumulative, 749 are active cases, 219 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 527 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and three cases under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced 68 new recoveries and no death, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,452 and 229 respectively.
