What is the eGov PH Super App?
eGov PH, or e-Government Philippines, is a mobile application that simplifies government transactions. Launched on June 2, 2023, it is spearheaded by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
Also dubbed the “super app,” the eGov PH aims to integrate all government online services into one platform. It doesn’t intend to replace existing online government services but rather to supplement them.
Key Features of the eGov Super App
Here are the services you can access through the eGov app:
Digital IDs
One of the key highlights of the eGov PH app is that you can access a digital card of your Philippines National ID and driver’s license. You can access them on the bottom panel of the home page. Tapping the button will open your Mobile ID Wallet, where you can enlarge your ID and its QR code.
If you can’t always connect to an internet or mobile data connection, you can also enable ‘Offline Mode’ so you can access your digital National ID at any time.

National Government Agencies (NGAs)
The app’s main feature is you’ll be able to access the digital online services offered by various government agencies in the Philippines. Depending on the agency, some will only lead you to their official website while others will give you access to their online portals where you can process transactions.
For instance, the DFA services gives you access to your digital passport, electronic Apostille, or apply for a Philippine visa straight form the app.

Most will only lead you to the city or municipality’s official website, while others will allow you to process transactions.
For example, The City of Manila – Intramuros gives you access to Go Manila Services, where you can apply, renew, or pay your Real Property Tax (RPTAX) and Business Tax (BTAX), among others.
Jobs
The Jobs feature of the eGov app gives you access to the eJobs Portal. It’s a digital job portal where you can browse for vacancies in your chosen profession. In addition, the feature lets you create a digital resume that you can use to apply for a position.
Tourism
The app’s Tourism feature gives you information and photos about the top vacation spots in the Philippines. Powered by the Deprtment of tourism, they give you a brief description of the destinations, including recommendations on where to go. This can be handy for tourists and locals who are planning their next getaway.

Travel
The Travel feature gives you access to the eTravel System. It’s a digital single data collection platform for travelers arriving and departing from the Philippiesn. It’s used for border control, health surveillance, and data analysis.
This feature is mainly for the following:
- Arriving Filipino and foreign crewmembers
- Arriving Filipino and foreign passengers
- Departing Filipino passengers
If you’re eligible to use this feature, note that you can only register for a travel declaration within 72 hours before your arrival or departure in the Philippines.
Start-Up
Anothergreat thing about the eGov Super App is that it allows you to promote your startup within the platform. Plus, it gives you access to numerous startup resources, information, and expertise to help kickstart your business. If you’re interested in utilizing this feature, make sure to create a profile so the community can know who you are.
Health
One of the features of the Health services is it gives you access to your digital COVID-19 vaccination certificate. The other is a map feature that lets you explore locations of the nearest health centers. This can be useful for when you have a medical emergency where you need immediate asdsistance.
Agriculture
The Agriculture panel gives you a glimpse of the DA’s KADIWA program. It’s an initiative that aims to promote a “direct” producer to consumer food supply and distribution system so farmers and fisherfolk can get a larger share of the profits sold from their produce. In turn, consumers can buy quality agri-fishery commodities at an affordable price.
If you want to support the program, the app provides you with a map of the locations of KADIWA stores nationwide, If you have questions or inquiries about the program, you can also send them through the feature.
SIM Card
If you’ve recently bought or switched to a new SIM card, you can conveniently register through the eGov app’s Sim Card Registration feature.
It allows you to access the registration processes for Globe, Smart, DITO, and GOMO.

Report
If you’re a concerned citizen or have witnessed a crime, you can easily file a report through the eGov mobile app. To report, you’ll need to choose from the following categories:
- Crime
- Red Tape

- Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW)

Depending on the category, you’ll be able to select the sub-category and whether it’s an ongoing crime or late report. Furthermore, you can also write details of the incident, feedback message, and upload an evidence softcopy to support your report.
Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW)
If you’re an OFW, you can view your OWWA membership details, electronic OEC information, and renew your driver’s license straight from the app.
How to Register on the eGOV PH Super App
Here are the steps to creating an account on the eGov mobile app:
- Download the eGov app through your phone’s Google Play Store or Apple App Store
- Open the app and click ‘Sign Up’
- Click ‘Continue’ if you want to enable notifications
- To register, fill in your name and email address. Then tap ‘ Create new account’
- Enter the 6-digit One-time Code that’s sent to your e-mail
- Next, enter your mobile number
- Enter the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile number
- Create a 6-digit Mobile Personal Identification Number (MPIN)
- Re-enter your MPIN, and tap ‘Enter’
- Wait for the confirmation of your registration, and tap ‘Okay’
How to Verify your eGov PH Super App Account
Unverified members can only use the News tab and services in the Health section. If you want to get full access to the eGov app, we highly recommend verifying your account. To do so, follow these steps:
- Click the ‘Verify Now’ button on the bottom of the app’s home screen
- Fill in your citizenship, name, birth date, and gender. Then tap ‘Next’
- Take a live selfie to confirm your identity
- Add your signature using your fingertips. You can tap ‘Skip for now’ if you don’t want to add this at the moment
- Wait for the confirmation message, and you’re done!
