TXT cancels offline comeback showcase after non-company staff tests positive for COVID-19

South Korean boy group Tomorrow x Together (TXT) has cancelled their offline media comeback showcase scheduled today, May 31, after a non-company staff member was diagnosed with COVID-19.

TXT’s agency Big Hit Music announced Monday morning (May 31), “A non-company staff member who participated in TXT’s schedule tested positive for COVID-19 on May 30. Therefore, it has become difficult to proceed with the offline media showcase that was scheduled for May 31.”

While the TXT members await their official COVID-19 test results, the agency stated that they administered self-test kits and returned negative, Soompi reported.

TXT will also release its second full-length album, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, today at 6 PM (KST).

Formed by Big Hit Music, TXT is a five-member group consists of five members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and HueningKai. They debuted in March 2019 with the EP The Dream Chapter: Star.
