SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA — ‘Thirty-Nine’ is on hiatus. Episodes 7 and 8 of the latest k-drama ‘Thirty-Nine’ scheduled for next week will not be aired by JTBC due to its priority to broadcast the Korean presidential elections.
In a report by Naver TV Entertainment, JTBC confirmed that on March 8, the scheduled release of ‘Thirty-Nine’s upcoming episode 7, is the day allocated to have a broadcast related to the upcoming Korean presidential election.
While on March 9, the scheduled release of episode 8, is an allotted day for a special broadcast about the kdrama’s previous episode 1 to episode 6 with a title, ‘About Thirty and Nine.’
However, even with the struggle of the team to air the most awaited episodes of ‘Thirty-Nine,’ they still believe that taking a week off because of the unexpected circumstances could possibly attract new viewers.
‘Thirty-Nine,’ which normally aired on television every Wednesday and Thursday of every week, will resume airing its upcoming episodes this coming March 16, 2022, Wednesday at 10:30 P.M. Korean Standard Time (KST).
The ongoing Korean drama television series ‘Thirty-Nine’ has a romance genre starring Son Ye-jin, Kim Ji-Hyun, and Jeon Mi-do. The first release date of the series was on February 16, 2022, with an expected ending date of March 24, 2022.
