SIM CARD REGISTRATION UPDATE — The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) reports that over 93 million SIM cards, or 55.41 percent, have been registered as of April 28, 2023.
On the official SIM Registration Update page of NTC, 93,092,462 SIM cards, or 55.41 percent of the 168 million subscribers, have been registered as of 11:59 pm on April 28, 2023.
Of the 93 million total, 43.9 million are SMART subscribers (66.27 percent of its 66 million total users), 42.9 million are Globe subscribers (49.51 percent of its 86 million total users), and 6.2 million are DITO subscribers (41.43 percent of its 14 million total users).
All subscribers are advised to register their SIM cards before the July 26 deadline announced on April 25, 2023. This deadline is final, according to the NTC.
