Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25 Ultra, in the Philippines on February 14, 2025, following its unveiling at the Galaxy Unpacked event.

During the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event held on January 22, Samsung unveiled its highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series, which includes the Galaxy S25, S25+, and the flagship S25 Ultra. 

The event marked a significant focus on artificial intelligence (AI) integration across the new devices, Snapdragon 88 Elite Mobile Platform, and the One UI 7 Introduction, showcasing how these advancements will enhance user interaction and overall functionality.

Pre-order Samsung S25 Ultra

Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra are now open, starting from January 23, 2025, until February 13, 2025. The device is available in three storage options: 256GB priced at ₱84,990, 512GB at ₱93,990, and 1TB at ₱110,990.

Samsung Trade-In 

For those considering upgrading their devices, Samsung offers a trade-in program in the Philippines that allows customers to exchange their old smartphones for new Samsung devices. 

However, it is important to note that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is still currently not listed as an option for trade-in on the website. Despite this, customers can still check the trade-in value for a variety of eligible models.

Online Trade-In Process

Below are the steps for online trade-in.

1. Select Your Device. Choose your current device from the list of eligible devices. This includes various Samsung models as well as some non-Samsung devices.
2. Input Device Details. Enter your delivery postal code, device category (smartphone or tablet), brand, model, and storage variant of your trade-in device.
3. IMEI Submission. Provide the 15-digit IMEI number of your device to proceed.
4. Condition Assessment. Answer a questionnaire regarding the condition of your old device. This will help determine its estimated trade-in value.
5. Receive Trade-In Value. If eligible, you will see an initial trade-in value that will be deducted from the price of your new Galaxy device in your cart.
6. Complete Purchase. Confirm the terms and conditions and proceed to checkout. The trade-in value will be applied as an instant discount on your new purchase.
7. Device Collection. A courier will collect your old device within two business days after delivering your new Galaxy device. Ensure that you have backed up your data and performed a factory reset.

Physical Store Trade-In Process

1. Visit an Authorized Retailer. Go to a Samsung authorized store that participates in the trade-in program.
2. Device Evaluation. Present your old device to a store representative who will assess its condition and provide you with an estimated trade-in value.
3. Select New Device. Choose the new Galaxy device you wish to purchase and apply the trade-in value towards it.
4. Complete Transaction. Finalize the purchase by paying any remaining balance after applying the trade-in discount.
5. Device Collection. If applicable, hand over your old device at the store during the transaction.
