Pia Wurtzbach makes history as the first Miss Universe titleholder to open the Arab Fashion Week.

Former Miss Universe winner Pia Wurtzbach is set to open the Arab Fashin Week 2021 on Tuesday, March 24. She shared a teaser of the five-minute fashion film with a caption: “Opening Arab Fashion Week tomorrow wearing the avant-garde creations of @furneamato @amatoofficial. Special thanks to @josh_yugen @yugenpr for making this happen and for officially representing me in the Middle East! Can’t wait to explore more opportunities in that part of the world.”

“This is the teaser for our 5 minute fashion film and it will open the whle show!! So excited for this! Thank you so much!” she added.



Wurtzbach will be featured at the digital edition and set to showcase the latest creation of designer and fellow Filipino Furne One of Amato Couture, who is known as the King of Couture in Dubai and one of the favorite designers of Hollywood celebrities such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Ariana Grande.

Arab Fashion Week is the world’s largest non-profit fashion council, featuring exquisite designs from across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the United States that will take place from March 24-28, 2021.
