MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The unofficial results of the national elections 2022 are currently being televised and many PH celebrities have expressed their reactions and shared their throughts online.
Andrea Brillantes was trending on Twitter yesterday, May 9, after she tweeted her dismay as her presidential candidate Leni Robredo was leading second after the current leading presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos.
Nadine Lustre also expressed her thoughts about the leading candidate on her Instagram Stories. She shared a post showing a glimpse of Philippine history marking the 35th Anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, where millions of Filipino citizens gathered against the dictatorial regime of former President Ferdinand Marcos.
She followed another post in her Stories about a time in history where Comelec employees in 1986 walked out after discovering result manipulation in favor of Marcos.
Alex Gonzaga expressed her gratitude for the support and vote of the people in Lipa for her husband, Mikee Morada, running to be a re-elected Councilor in the city.
She also tweeted on her Twitter account how people should stop the commotion online as they are all countrymen of the Philippines.

In an interview with the media company ABS-CBN, Filipino action star Robin Padilla, who is running for senatorial candidacy and is now the leading candidate in the partial results, shareed his thoughts on his candidacy result. He stated his least expectation to top the list as he only has the help of his wife Mariel Rodriguez, President Rodrigo Duterte, and Senator Bong Go.
Alongside Padilla, Arjo Atayde, Ejay Falcon, Jhong Hilario, Jason Abalos, Richard Gomez, and Lucy Torres-Gomez are the celebrities around the country who filed for candidacy for local positions in the entertainment, media, or sports industry in their respected cities and won. – WhatALife!
