The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) suspends its lotto draws beginning January 10 to January 12 due to the spike of COVID-19 cases in the country.
In a statement posted Monday, the PCSO said the suspension of draw games is to ensure the health and safety of their employees, all agents, and the public.
Meanwhile, the selling of tickets will continue and catch-up draws will be held on the first day of the resumption of draw operations on January 13.
Small Town Lottery (STL) operations, on the other hand, will continue in areas authorized by the local government, PCSO said.
The agency encouraged everyone to follow the minimum health protocols to help curb the spiking number of COVID-19 infections in the country. – WhatALife.ph
