WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippines Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), SouthWest Monsoon is still currently ongoing and continues to affect the western section of both Southern Luzon and Visayas.
Additionally, the majority of the areas in the Philippines are predicted to experience cloudy skies with chances of occasional rain showers to thunderstorms. The weather temperature major areas face are estimated to be around 32°C to 26°C.
Individuals should be wary of the weather conditions as continuous rainfall may result in flash floods or landslides within rural areas.
Weather Today – September 26, 2023
The forecast weather conditions estimate that areas such as Western Visayas and MIMAROPA will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderator or heavy rains in effect.
Similar to yesterday’s forecasts, areas such as Manila and the rest of the country will be experiencing partly cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms or rain showers. Potential intense thunderstorms may also result in possible floods or landslides in intense weather conditions.
Additionally, forecasts for wind and coastal water conditions show the western sections of Luzon and Visyayas to be light to moderate speed. The direction is estimated to be around Southwest to Southeast.
Mindanao is forecasted to experience the same light to moderate wind condition with the direction falling from Southwest to West.
