WEATHER UPDATE – According to PAGASA, the country will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers in other areas today, March 5 (Tuesday).
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced across Mindanao, specifically in the Davao Region, Surigao del Sur, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora, which is affected by the Easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. The Easterlies have an impact on these areas, and during severe thunderstorms, possible flash floods or landslides.
Furthermore, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions show that Northern Luzon sections of the country will experience East to Southeast winds, causing slight to moderate coastal water conditions (0.6 to 2.5 meters).
PAGASA urges residents in Luzon areas affected to monitor weather updates and remain vigilant closely. Be prepared to evacuate if necessary, especially in areas prone to flooding or landslides.
