WEATHER UPDATE – According to PAGASA, the country will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in other areas today, March 25 (Monday).
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced in Eastern Visayas and Caraga, which is affected by the Easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.
The rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. The Easterlies impact these areas, and there are possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Furthermore, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions show that northern and eastern sections of the country will experience east-to-south winds, causing moderate to rough coastal water conditions (2.5 to 2.8 meters).
People in affected areas should stay informed about possible rain showers and thunderstorms. It’s recommended to carry an umbrella or raincoat when going outside.
Additionally, caution is advised during thunderstorms, with instructions to avoid open areas and stay indoors if possible due to the increased risk of lightning strikes.
