WhatALife! PAGASA Weather Updates

WEATHER UPDATE – According to PAGASA, the country will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and light rains and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms and light rains in other areas today, March 21 (Thursday).

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced across Mindanao, specifically in Caraga, Davao Oriental, and Davao de Oro, which are affected by the Easterlies with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to, at times, heavy rains.

Meanwhile, Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon, with no significant impact expected.

In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are forecasted due to the Northeast Monsoon, posing no significant impact.

The rest of the country will encounter partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms influenced by the Easterlies. Residents in these areas are advised to stay alert for possible flash floods or landslides, especially during severe thunderstorms.

In addition, PAGASA’s wind and coastal water conditions indicate that Northeast winds will prevail over the Northern and Central Luzon sections, resulting in moderate to strong water conditions with wave heights ranging from 2.5 to 4.0 meters.

PAGASA urges residents, especially those living in low-lying areas or near slopes, to remain cautious and vigilant against flash floods or landslides. It is recommended to stay indoors during heavy rain unless necessary.

As weather conditions may change rapidly, PAGASA advises the public to stay updated through official announcements and weather bulletins to ensure their safety and preparedness amid changing weather patterns.
