WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippines Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), the Low-Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated from gathered data at 810 km East of Northeastern Mindanao as the Southwest monsoon is also affecting Luzon and Visayas.
PAGASA weather reports may have a possibility of developing into a typhoon within the next 24 hours. As there was a tropical storm northwest of mainland Philippines, the typhoon then went Southeast towards the Philippines, now deemed as a tropical depression causing heavy rains and flood warnings in Northern Luzon.

Caraga and Davao Region will be experiencing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the LPA that has been developing East of Northeastern Mindanao. The weather conditions may cause flash floods or landslides from the cause of moderate to heavy rains.
Zambales and Bataan will be affected by the Southwest Monsoon, causing the weather of the area to have cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms. Zambales, Bataan, and other nearby areas will be impacted by flash floods or landslides from the normal to heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. The Southwest Monsoon and localized thunderstorms will be the cause of the weather conditions in Metro Manila and other areas, causing floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
PAGASA has issued gale warnings with water conditions rising from 2.8 to 4.5 meters which is a severe height for the areas listed.
The listed areas on the gale warnings are:
- Ilocos Norte
- Ilocos Sur
- La Union
- Pangasinan
- Zambales
- Bataan
- The western coast of Batangas
- Occidental Mindoro including Lubang Islands
- Palawan including Calamian, Cagayancillo, Cuyo, and Kalayaan Islands
