WEATHER UPDATE — According to the Philippines Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Southern Mindanao, causing rain showers and thunderstorms.
PAGASA has not issued any gale warnings as no cyclone is coming into the Philippine Area of Responsibility. The forecast wind and coastal water conditions will be normal. For Luzon, winds from Southeast to South will be light to moderate speed within 0.6 to 1.5 meters of coastal water height.
Visayas and Mindanao will also have light to moderate wind speeds directed from East to Southeast, with coastal waters at regular height.
Weather Today – July 6, 2023
Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and the southern portion of Palawan will be experiencing scattered rain showers and thunderstorms that are caused by the ITCZ, which will impact the areas with the possibility of flash floods or landslides from the moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be experiencing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms from surrounding areas. There will be the possibility of flash floods and landslides during severe areas prone to heavy rain.
The weather will be normal for most areas until late afternoon or evening. The Visayas will be raining for the majority of the time.
A cloud of thunderstorm west of Central Luzon pushed by the Easterlies wind direction from East to West.
General weather temperature will range from 27°C to 35°C, staying at a stable 32°C for most of the day.

- Zamboanga Del Sur
- Zamboanga Sibugay
