Vietnam

Thailand

Starting July 15, 2024, Thailand doubled its visa exemption period from 30 to 60 days for nationals from 93 countries, including the Philippines. So, this is your chance to explore the country’s breathtaking scenery.

If you’re a foodie, Thai cuisine is famous for its bold flavors, aromatic spices, and diverse dishes. From street food to fine dining, you can indulge in delectable dishes like Tom Yum, Pad Thai, and Massaman Curry.

Hong Kong

Singapore

Singapore is one of the countries that allow passport holders from the Philippines to stay visa free for up to 30 days.

However, you’ll need to apply for their Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC) before arriving in the country. In 2019, Singapore implemented this permit to replace the paper-based Disembarkation Card. Fortunately, you don’t need to go to the Singapore embassy or consulate since you can apply for one online. Although the card is processed within 48 hours, we recommend you process yours at least 5 days before traveling.

Aside from the SGAC, here are other requirements you’ll need to enter Singapore:

Tips on How to Book Cheap Flight Tickets

Flight tickets are often the most expensive part of traveling, but you don’t have to break the bank if you want to explore these visa free countries. To help keep your expenses low, here are tips you can keep in mind when booking your tickets:

• Book at least 21 days in advance. We find that booking your tickets in advance, especially if you’re traveling on a holiday. That’s because as ticket availability goes down, the prices go up. 
• Book your flights for Tuesday or Wednesday. This may seem like a myth, but most airlines deem them the “least busy” days so they set their ticket prices cheaper.
• Clear browser ‘cookies.’ If you have previously visited the airline’s website, make sure to clear your browser cookies. That’s because the site’s booking system will set the same prices or increase them if they detect you have repeated visits.
• Compare prices. Make sure to compare ticket prices from various booking systems since they won’t always have the same rate.
• Wait for ticket promos. Airlines will sometimes drop promos that allow you to purchase tickets at a significantly lower price. They usually post these announcements on their social media pages.
