Marvel Studios released on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, the official trailer for ‘Moon Knight.’
The show, which stars Oscar Isaac (who played Apocalypse in Marvel-Fox’s X-Men: Apocalypse), will start airing on March 30, 2022, on Disney+.
The story centers on protagonist Steven Grant, who is a former soldier with a dissociative identity disorder. He then becomes the channel for Khonshu, the Egyptian moon god.
The trailer further shows Steven being unable to distinguish between his real life and his dreams. A part of the clip also shows Steven answering a phone call and being called Marc, which in the comics is one of his alter egos. Moreover, we see a cult leader, Arthur Harrow, who encourages Steven to “Embrace the chaos”, then transitioning to clips showing Steven transforming into Moon Knight.
It is also worth noting that Moon Knight is the first of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ shows that do not base or revolve around existing characters from the previous Marvel films.
