Speculation arises as netizens notice Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee’s sudden decision to allegedly unfollow “EXpecially For You” contestant Atty. Oliver Moeller on Instagram.
The news has become a hot topic on Reddit, with several users observing that Oliver’s name no longer appears on Michelle’s following list on Instagram.
Oliver gained attention as he was chosen to be Michelle’s date during her appearance on the special episode of “EXpecially For You” on the first airing day of the Kapamilya noontime show on GMA-7 last April 6, 2024.
According to Michelle’s fans, the reigning Miss Universe Philippines unfollowed Oliver after the Cebu-based lawyer made another appearance on the Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime on April 16, 2024, where co-host Kim Chiu teased him.
In an exclusive interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, Oliver admitted that he had always found Kim attractive before appearing on the “EXpecially For You” segment.
He stated, “I’ve always thought Kim was such a pretty person. You know, she’s from Cebu. So, I mean, I guess you could say that.”
“Are you courting Kim?” MJ asked.
In response, Oliver ambiguously replied, “I don’t think it’s fair that I speak about that without Kim’s permission. So, I’m so sorry. I hope you understand. But Kim’s pretty nice.”
Following the “EXpecially For You” segment on April 6, Oliver and Michelle were seen together for a date.
When asked about their date, Oliver described Michelle as “amazing, elegant, such a well-spoken person, very professional.”
Michelle has not commented on the reason for unfollowing Oliver or clarified if she unfollowed him.
