Andrea Meza succeeds Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa
Miss Mexico Andrea Meza is the new Miss Universe at the pageant’s coronation night held in Florida, USA on Monday, May 17 (May 16 in Florida).

The 26-year-old beauty queen succeeded Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa, whose reign was extended after the 2020 pageant was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Meza was selected out of 74 delegates by a judging panel made up of eight women, including two previous winners, entrepreneurs, and TV personalities.
Julia Gama of Brazil was named the 1st Runner up, followed by Janick del Castillo of Peru and Adline Castelino of India. Meanwhile, Kimberly Jimenez of the Dominican Republic snagged the 4th Runner up spot.
