The widened Mandacpan Bridge (from 2-lanes to 4-lanes) in Butuan City is now open to traffic.
“The 94.5-meter long bridge was officially opened in the afternoon of August 17, 2020, and cleared all traffic woes along the Democrito D. Plaza II Avenue (formerly Butuan By-Pass Road), a preferred alternate route in going to Cagayan de Oro, Iligan, Bukidnon, and vice versa without passing through the congested city proper highway,” DPWH – Caraga posted.
