Is March 8, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

Proclamation No. 481 designates March 8, Friday, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Davao de Oro to mark the celebration of its 26th founding anniversary. 

This holiday gives an opportunity for people of Davao de Oro to take part and enjoy the festivities of the said celebration.

Is March 15, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

In accordance with Proclamation No. 479, March 15, 2024 will be observed as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Bauko, Mountain Province, to celebrate the Begnas di Bauko Festival. 

This proclamation acknowledges the significance of this day and provides the people of Bauko with the opportunity to actively participate and enjoy the celebration.

Is March 16, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

As formalized by Proclamation No. 432, March 16 is declared a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Lugait, Province of Misamis Oriental. This day commemorates their Founding Anniversary and serves as a time for residents to celebrate their municipality’s history and progress.

Is March 19, 2024, a holiday in the Philippines?

Through Proclamation No. 484, March 19, 2024, Tuesday, is a special (non-working) day in the City of Canlaon, Province of Negros Oriental in celebration of its Pasayaw Festival 2024.

This day provides the people of Canlaon the chance to fully participate and enjoy the celebration. 

Is March 28, 2024, a holiday?

As per Proclamation No. 368, March 28 is a regular holiday in the country. This is with respect to Maundy Thursday of the Holy Week in the country. 

Is March 29, 2024, a holiday?

Similarly, March 29 is a regular holiday with respect to Good Friday, which is in line with the Holy Week in the Philippines.

Is March 30, 2024, a holiday?

Moreover, March 30, 2024 is declared an additional special (non-working) day in the country as this is when Black Saturday of the Holy Week falls.
