Under Limketkai’s Facebook post, the establishment shows its newest logo design. The updated logo of Limketkai Mall is inspired by its original signage from the ‘90s. The post also shows captions from various users complimenting the “renewed” logo.

Based on the post’s caption, the designer wants to give the logo a throwback vibe, where locals would thrive in activities that remind them of the old days.
Under this post, even more netizens commented with positive remarks and hopes of bringing back many childhood triggers.
“Bring back the skating rink and bumper cars pleaseee… pretty please Limketkai Center,” one user insisted in their comment.
“I prefer Limketkai in the 90s than today,” another user commented on his preference for the “old” Limketkai Center. “Back in the day, the Outdoor Rides, Skatezone and arcades are in one place. It was a fun mall. Today it’s huge, but it’s dark and empty.”
Limketkai is a prominent shopping mall and one of the most visited places in Cagayan de Oro City. It is the largest mall in Mindanao and was built in 1991. Thanks to its proximity to CDO’s central business district, it is popular among locals.
