MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Scottish singer-songwriter Lewis Capaldi is set to hold a concert in Manila as part of his “Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent” tour. The concert will take place on July 27 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.
Concert promoter Wilbros Live announced the news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, April 12, saying that he’s set to drop by the country for a one-night show as part of his Asia 2023 concert tour Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday, April 15, at 10 a.m. on TicketNet.com.ph and TicketNet outlets nationwide. More ticketing details will be announced soon.
It’s been almost two years since the Scottish singer-songwriter released her debut album. The album was such a hit that he was constantly traveling around the world during that time.
Capaldi’s debut album “Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent” was a set of self-written songs that captivated the planet, which was released in 2019 and has garnered critical acclaim.
The track was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2020 Grammy Awards and won the same title at the 2020 Brit Awards, where Lewis was also named Best New Artist.
He is set to release his sophomore album, Broken By Desire to Be Heavenly Sent, on May 19. The record is expected to feature his latest single, “Forget Me,” which was released in September 2022, “How I’m Feeling Now,” and “Pointless.”
Fans can expect to hear his popular songs during the concert; with his chart-topping hits and exceptional songwriting skills, Capaldi is expected to deliver an unforgettable performance in the New Frontier Theater.
