Kisses Delavin bagged the top spot for the introduction video challenge, as announced last Saturday, August 7, in an official post from Miss Universe Philippines’s official Facebook.

Votes were tallied from August 2 through 6, resulting in the top 15 lineups for the challenge. 

The top 15 delegates, sans Delavin in first place, are as follows: Rousanne Marie Bernos, Maureen Christa Wroblewitz, Steffi Rose Aberastusi, Katrina Dimaranan, Leren Mae Bautista, Maria Corazon Abalos, Kamille Alyssa Quinola, Noelyn Rose Campos, Cheri Angel Anne Flejores, Angela Nikki de Grano, Gianne Kryssee Tecson Asuncion, Isabelle de los Santos, Mirjan Hipolito, and Princess Kristha Singh.

The announcement poster’s caption included a “Congratulations, girls!” from the Miss Universe Philippines Organization.

Delavin’s video, which clocks in at a little over one minute, gives us a quick introduction to her. Kirsten Danielle Delavin, or Kisses, is a candidate from Masbate. She studies at De La Salle University for a Business degree.

Aside from that, the 22-year-old is also an actress, singer, and dancer. “In this work, I get to meet and connect with people of all ages — which I love to do since I was young — and get to travel to places in different parts of the world, which I also love.”

Her closing statement? “A fun fact about me is that I am a food lover. I love rice, I love ulam, all kinds of ulam, and everything in between.”

Additionally, Delavin has been in beauty pageants since the age of three and hasn’t stopped since. Delavin was also on Pinoy Big Brother — specifically, Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7.

She previously scored a win under her belt for Best Headshot. But it’s not over yet! There are still many more challenges to come that’ll whittle the 75 candidates down to 30 — with the coronation on September 25 fast approaching.
