After several speculations about Kim Chiu and Xian Lim’s breakup, they have finally revealed that after nearly 12 years together, their relationship is over.
Captioned “End of a love story. It took me awhile to say this… until today,” Kim’s recent post shows a heartfelt message to their fans and now ex-partner Xian Lim.
The actress emphasized the importance of transparency with their followers, acknowledging the love and support they’ve received over the years.
“We owe our supporters the truth, but we also respect each other’s time of healing. In a relationship, love is always a significant factor, but sometimes love is not enough.”
In response, Xian Lim also shared his own sentiments in a heartfelt post, thanking Kim for the time they spent together, describing it as the best gift he could ever ask for.
“Like all good things, it must eventually come to an end. I am grateful for all the moments we shared together. Thank you for all the unconditional love throughout the years. My respect and admiration for you as a person, as an artist, and as some one I spent more than a decade with will always remain.”
Kim and Xian, who also shared almost 12 years together, have decided to transition their relationship into what they hope will be a lifelong friendship according to Kim.
Despite the challenges that led to this decision, Kim expressed gratitude for the beautiful memories and the unwavering support they have received from their fans.
The actress went on to ask for kindness and respect as both individuals move forward with their lives while Xian wishes Kim that she finds her the happiness and love she is searching for.
