MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The images where netizens spotted Kathryn Bernardo and Jericho Rosales jog together is currently generating widespread attention and discussion in social media.
“Post ko na din sa wall ko para may remembrance. Kasabay lang namin mag-jogging sila Kathryn Bernardo and Jericho Rosales. ‘Wag na mag-showbiz question kasi ‘di ko alam ang sagot,” Facebook user Joanne Canja captioned her post.
She updated her caption and added an edit: ‘EDIT: May Iba silang kasama. Si John Manalo pala!! Sorry na!’
A different user on X (formerly Twitter) uploaded a brief video clip featuring Bernardo, Rosales, and another individual jogging on the tracks. The video angle does not provide a clear verification of whether the third person was indeed Manalo.
The viral photo and video have fueled speculations about a potential collaboration between the two actors.
Recently, Rosales indicated his desire to collaborate with Bernardo by sharing a photo of the actress among other male actors on his Instagram stories. The caption read: “While I would love to be paired with these gorgeous leading men, I think it would make more sense to work with Kath at this moment.”
Both have recently ended their relationships with their longtime partners, with Kathryn parting ways with Daniel, and Jericho separating from his wife Kim Jones.
In 2019, while Rosales was involved in the teleserye “Halik,” he had previously shown interest in collaborating with Bernardo. At that time, Bernardo was engaged in the highly successful film “Hello, Love, Goodbye” alongside Alden Richards.
Conversely, Rosales was among the notable actors whom Bernardo aspired to work with when she was still establishing her reputation in the industry.
In addition to the observed “night jog” instances, the pair was also sighted at the birthday dinner of former Star Magic head Johnny Manahan on January 26. They were spotted in the company of other original Star Magic artists, including Maja Salvador, Bea Alonzo, John Lloyd Cruz, and Piolo Pascual.
