TV host Bianca Gonzalez welcomes actress Julia Barretto in the latest episode of The Side B. Julia talks about her personal life, travel goals, and her new movie with Joshua Garcia, Unhappy For You.

The sit-down interview begins in a relaxed and casual manner. The pair discussed the actress’s ongoing Juju on the Go YouTube videos. In this series, Julia documents her adventures across the Philippines, sharing her happy and unhappy moments in each location she visited.

Moreover, Julia Barretto expresses gratitude for the places she visits. She mentions that the local government is very accommodating when she chooses to explore their area.

Aside from her YouTube channel, Bianca talked about Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto’s relationship. Both dated for a couple of years and starred in several films throughout their relationship. However, they separated after two years of dating, leaving fans broken. 

After their breakup, the pair appeared in Moira dela Torre’s Paubaya music video. It was extremely emotional, with the former couple sharing a heartfelt dialogue about their breakup. Because of this video, fans were even more heartbroken due to what they said.

Fast-forward a few years, and with both in new relationships, they worked on a new movie together. Viewers can still catch the Unhappy For You full movie in cinemas since it’s still in its second week. 

Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia’s new movie follows two exes who find their way back to each other in their province, Naga. The film shares the couple’s past and present timeline, from how they met to how they were dating, their breakup, and their current life. Much of the movie’s content is rooted in Joshlia’s real-life love story.

Since its release, Unhappy For You has been one of the top-grossing Pinoy movies. In just its first day, the film earned ₱20.5 million.

At present, Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson are in a relationship. On the other hand, Joshua Garcia is dating Emilienne Vigier. The on-screen love team is very happy with their current real-life romances. Furthermore, they shared how understanding and happy their partners are for their movie.
