SM City J Mall is officially open to the public on October 25, just a week before the beginning of Halloween. This mall marks the 87th outlet under the SM Group and garnered popularity for its Japanese-inspired elements.
“We are excited to introduce SM J Mall as a multifaceted destination that goes beyond just shopping,” SM Supermall President Steven Tan stated.
“With its fresh mix of dining options, interactive entertainment, and premium services to fit the urban Cebuano lifestyle, SM J Mall is set to become a favorite destination for the Cebu shopper, diner, and entertainment seeker,” he added.

The latest SM mall in Cebu will feature a mix of global brands and local favorites, along with eco-friendly elements such as a rainwater catchment system, which aligns with SM’s commitment to sustainability and green development.
SM J Mall is designed to provide unique and personalized experiences while maintaining order for guests.
The Lower Ground Level is designed to offer visitors quick bites, everyday essentials, and convenient services. On the other hand, the Upper Ground Level provides dining options of a higher quality.
The 2nd and 3rd levels cater to the needs for amusement and an active lifestyle. On these levels, visitors can find various specialty stores, wellness centers, and cinemas.

In related news, SM Group has announced plans to open two additional malls in 2024: SM City San Fernando La Union and SM City Laoag.
Furthermore, the SM Group aims to create additional leisure and socializing areas within its malls while emphasizing and honoring local communities.
