How To Know If My Sim is Already Registered
To determine if your SIM is already registered, you typically need to follow a few straightforward steps. First, check with the government agency responsible for telecommunications. Many of these agencies have online portals where you can input your SIM card number to verify its registration status.
Follow the step-by-step guide below to know if you’ve successfully registered your SIM:
Globe/TM
If you have already registered on Globe/TM’s registration portal. You may verify your SIM Card registration if it went successfully through the following steps:
- Go to https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg/. Globe and TM users need to go to the registration portal, where they can check the registration status of their SIM cards. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and web browser installed on your phone, computer, or any similar device.
- Upon reaching the site, you must enter the 11-digit mobile number associated with your Globe or TM SIM card. Make sure you’ve input the correct number to avoid errors. Once you’re done, click the “Register” button.
- After entering your mobile number, you will then receive a one-time password (OTP) on your phone via SMS. Input the OTP on the website to proceed with the verification process. Also, OTPs are usually valid for a limited time, so enter it immediately.
- Once you’ve entered the OTP, the website will display the registration status of your SIM card. If your SIM card is registered, you’ll usually encounter a message that says, “Whoops! Your SIM has been previously registered!”. In this case, your SIM is already registered. However, if your SIM still needs to be registered, you will be prompted to complete the registration process through the same portal.
