MANILA, Philippines — Actor and former PBB housemate Gerald Anderson finally admits in a one-on-one interview with host Boy Abunda his relationship with actress Julia Barretto.

In the interview, Anderson told Abunda that Barretto is a source of happiness for him. “Very happy. It’s a yes,” Anderson also stated.

The actor also spoke about the accusations and controversy that surrounded his relationship with Barretto since last year. He stated, “At the end of the day, ako ‘yung pinaka-controversial na tao sa Pilipinas ngayon but I’m so blessed with good health, ‘yung pamilya, nakakakain kami araw-araw, may work ako. I can still provide for them.”

It was in the middle of 2019 when the actor broke up with actress Bea Alonzo who also said she was “ghosted” by Anderson. Shortly after, he was linked to Barretto who was also his co-star in the movie “Between Maybes” which was shot in Japan. However, the two co-stars denied back then that they were more than friends.

Barretto was also accused of cheating on her then ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia with Gerald Anderson. Barreto and Garcia, however, have remained good friends and recently starred in the Paubaya music video.
