MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The first set of fuel price changes of the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, according to industry sources.
In a separate advisory, Pilipinas Shell will implement price rollback for diesel by Php2.20 per liter, Php2.55 per liter for kerosene, and Php2.10 for gasoline. Changes will take effect on August 9, 2022, at 6:00 am.
Effective 8:01 am, CleanFuel will implement a price rollback for gasoline by Php2.10 per liter and Php2.20 per liter for diesel.
Effective 6:00 am, PetroGazz will implement a price rollback for diesel by Php2.20 per liter and for gasoline by Php2.10 per liter.
Effective 6:00 am, PPT Philippines will implement a price rollback for gasoline by Php2.10 per liter and for diesel by Php2.20 per liter.
Effective 6:00 am, SeaOil will implement a price rollback for gasoline by Php2.10 per liter, for diesel by Php2.20 per liter, and kerosene by Php2.55 per liter.
Effective 6:00 am, Jetti Petroleum will implement a price rollback for Diesel Master by Php2.20 per liter, for Accel Rate by Php2.10 per liter, and JX Premium by Php2.10 per liter.
Effective 6:00 am, Unioil will implement a price rollback for Euro5 Diesel by Php2.20 per liter, for EuroGasoline (91, 95, and 97) by Php2.10 per liter.
Effective 12:01 am, Caltex (CPI) will implement price rollback of Platinum and Silver by Php2.10 per liter, and price rollback for diesel by Php2.20 per liter and kerosene by Php2.55 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:
- Diesel by Php0.50-P0.75 per liter (rollback)
- Gasoline by Php0.50-P0.70 per liter (increase)
- Kerosene by Php0.70-P1.00 per liter (rollback)
On August 2, fuel prices were reduced by Php0.60-P0.75per liter for diesel and kerosene by Php0.75 per liter. On the contrary, fuel prices rose by Php0.75 per liter for gasoline. Meanwhile, previous price adjustments on July 26 were Php1.85 per liter decrease for diesel, Php0.40 per liter for gasoline, and kerosene by Php0.70 per liter.
As of August 2, 2022, the year-to-date net increase is Php19.65 per liter for gasoline, Php32.35 per liter for diesel and Php27.30 per liter for kerosene.
Oil firms usually announce new fuel price changes every Monday to be implemented on Tuesday. – WhatALife!
