Fuel price increase effective January 3, 2023

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The new set of fuel price changes for the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Effective 12:01AM Jan. 3, 2023, Caltex (CPI) will INCREASE fuel prices of Platinum and Silver by 2.90 Php/L, Diesel by 2.10 Php/L and Kerosene by 3.05 Php/L.

Effective 6:00 am, Pilipinas SHELL will implement a price adjustment for diesel increase by P2.10 per liter, kerosene increase by P3.05 per liter, and gasoline increase by P2.90 per liter.

Petro Gazz will implement a price increase for diesel by Php2.10 per liter and gasoline increase by Php2.90 per liter, effective 6:00 am.

Effective 6:00 am, Seaoil will implement a price increase for diesel by Php2.10 per liter, kerosene increase by Php3.10 per liter, and gasoline by Php2.90 per liter.



Effective 4:01 pm, CleanFuel will implement a price decrease for diesel by Php2.10 per liter, and increase for gasoline by Php2.90 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:

  • Diesel – PhpP2.60 to Php2.10 per liter (increase)
  • Gasoline – Php2.42 to Php2.90 per liter (increase)
  • Kerosene – Php3.05 to Php3.05 per liter (increase)

Year-to-date net increase

Effective December 28, 2022, the price of diesel has decreased by P0.20 per liter while gasoline and kerosene prices have increased by P0.95 and P0.50, respectively.



These resulted to the year-to-date total adjustments to stand at a net increase of P14.90/liter for gasoline, P27.30/liter for diesel, and P21.30/liter for kerosene.
