MANILA, PHILIPPINES — The new set of fuel price changes for the month is set to take effect on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, according to industry sources.

In a separate advisory, Effective 12:01AM May 16, 2023, Caltex (CPI) will INCREASE fuel prices of Platinum and Silver by 0.35 Php/L, Diesel by 1.40 Php/L and Kerosene by 1.20 Php/L.

Jetti petroleum will implement a price hike for diesel master by Php 1.40 per liter, and for gasoline Php 0.35 per liter.

Pilipinas SHELL will implement a price hike for gasoline by Php 0.35 per liter, increase for diesel Php 1.40 per liter and also an increase in kerosene by Php 1.20 per liter.

Petro Gazz will implement a price hike for diesel by Php 1.40 per liter and also an increase for gasoline by Php 0.35 per liter effective 6:00 am.



Seaoil will implement a price hike for gasoline by Php 0.35 per liter, diesel by Php 1.40 per liter, and by Php 1.40 per liter.

CleanFuel will implement a price hike for gasoline by Php 0.35 per liter, and also an increase by Php 1.40 per liter for diesel.

PTT Philippines will implement a price hike for gasoline by Php 0.35 per liter, and Php 1.40 per liter for diesel roll back.

Phoenix Petroleum Philippines will decrease the prices of gasoline by Php 0.35 per liter and for diesel by Php 1.35 per liter.

The estimates for this week are the following:



  • Diesel P1.20 – P1.50/L ( Increase )
  • Gasoline P0.20 – P0.50/L ( Increase )
  • Kerosene P1.10 – P1.40/L ( Increase )

Year-to-date net increase

Effective 8 May, 2023, the oil companies implemented a per liter increase of Php 1.00 for diesel and Pph 1.60 for kerosene. On the opposite, the price of gasoline has increased by P1.10 per liter.

These resulted to a year-to-date net decrease for diesel at P1.00/liter and kerosene at P1.65/liter. Gasoline on the other hand, has a net increase of P6.70/liter.
