Great news, Kdrama fans! The first trailer for “You Are the Apple of My Eye” just dropped. The film is an adaptation of the original Taiwanese film of the same title. Jung Jinyoung and TWICE’s Dahyun star as the movie’s leads.

Official announcements for the adaptation were made during the 19th Busan International Film Festival on September 3 as part of the World Premiere section of Korean Cinema Today’s Panorama segment.

Additionally, ONCEs or TWICE fans are excited for Dahyun’s acting debut. The “You Are the Apple of My Eye” trailer portrays high school nostalgia as it follows two students. The story follows Jin Woo (portrayed by Jinyoung) as he builds up the courage to confess his crush to Seon Ah (Dahyun).

The teaser shows the giddy feelings and experiences high school brings. The characters laugh, chat, and goof around together in the trailer. Moreover, the fifty-four-second clip captures their story as Jin Woo sees her for the first time from the classroom window.

It also shows how their relationship flourishes as they spend more time together. Their bond strengthens when Jin Woo covers up for Seon Ah in class. Furthermore, it portrays realistic high school life as students try to figure their youth out.

It ends with Jinyoung saying, “The girl we liked back then was our dream and youth. The us of that time were shining.”

As of this writing, they haven’t confirmed the release date for the Korean ‘You Are the Apple of My Eye.
