MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano, popularly known as DonBelle, graced the screens as Guest Star Patrollers on ABS-CBN’s flagship newscast, TV Patrol, last Monday night.
This marked a chapter in their careers, being the first Kapamilya loveteam to host the Star Patrol segment, adding a fresh twist to entertainment news.
The young stars shared their excitement and jitters with this new role. Belle Mariano opened up about her anxiousness but emphasized the value of the learning experience this opportunity provided.
Reflecting on his previous stint as a MYX VJ, Donny Pangilinan expressed his fondness for hosting, highlighting how such experiences contribute to their growth as artists.
“We’re just really grateful and feel so blessed. These types of opportunities are something we never take for granted. For some, it might just seem like another guesting, but when it’s our first time doing something, it’s thrilling and enriching,” Pangilinan shared with the audience.
In addition to their memorable appearance on TV Patrol, Donny and Belle are preparing for the much-anticipated Star Magical Prom. They expressed their excitement to attend the event, looking forward to gathering new and familiar faces in the Star Magic family.
“There’s going to be a mix of new talents and those we’ve known, and we’re excited to see everyone dressed up. After the success of last year’s event, we’re looking forward to making more memories this year,” Pangilinan remarked, capturing the sentiment of anticipation for the prom.
As their hit series “Can’t Buy Me Love” approaches its finale, the two shared their sentiments about the show.
Belle Mariano confessed to feeling a sense of separation anxiety, considering the daily routine and the bonds formed over the eight months of working closely with the cast and crew.
