Public schools nationwide will finally welcome the school year 2020-2021 next week after months of delay due to the coronavirus pandemic.
To ensure both students’ and teachers’ health safety, the Department of Education (DepEd) has pushed through alternative learning modalities through distance learning.
DepEd Cagayan de Oro virtually launched the opening ceremony of class on Friday, October 1.
The department has earlier released the airing schedules for the radio- and TV-based instructions under the modular distance learning modalities. See the schedule of lessons and its platforms below.

Learners can also listen to radio lessons through the Bombo Radio App by simply downloading it from the Google Playstore.

(Update 10/16/20) – DepEd CdeO TV lesson schedule

There are variations of platforms where students can watch TV lessons on Hope Channel, including Parasat Cable Channel 17, Local antenna Channel 25, GSAT Channel 37, and the Facebook page at Hope Channel South Philippines.

Students can watch TV lessons at either of the following platform Facebook page at JaoTV51, Parasat Cable TV Channel 29, Jade Channel 27/28, and Aerial/Antenna TV Channel 37.

To watch TV lessons in Parasat Cable TV, access through channels 1 and 4.
Meanwhile, assigned teachers may deliver paper-based modules at each learner’s homes, or parents/guardians may retrieve the lessons. Either way, the minimum health protocol introduced by the Department of Health should be strictly observed, including wearing a face mask and face shield, maintaining a meter apart physical distance, and frequent handwashing.
