Despite their breakup, Daniel Padilla took a heartfelt moment to extend birthday wishes to his former girlfriend, Kathryn Bernardo.

In a sweet gesture, Daniel took to Instagram at midnight on Tuesday to share a special message for Kathryn on her birthday. 

Posting a graphic image featuring both of them, Daniel conveyed his wishes with the words “Happy birthday to you” written in Japanese characters.

The sunflower emoji in the lower left corner of his Instagram story hinted at the recipient of his birthday message, unmistakably pointing to Kathryn.

The former couple, Kathryn and Daniel, captured the public’s attention in November when they announced the end of their 11-year relationship. 

Despite their separation, Daniel’s gesture shows that there remains a sense of warmth and respect between them.

In the wake of their breakup, Kathryn made headlines with a bold appearance change, debuting a stunning ginger hairstyle. 

Her new look garnered praise from fellow celebrities, including Heart Evangelista, who complimented Kathryn’s transformation with a simple yet expressive “Boogsh.”

In February, the “Hello, Love, Goodbye” actress further showcased her independence and resilience by attending Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” in Melbourne. 

During the concert, Kathryn confidently sang along to Swift’s hit song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” a moment captured on video by her best friend, Arisse De Santos.

Despite the changes and challenges that come with the end of a long-term relationship, Daniel and Kathryn continue their paths with grace and positivity separately.
