Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray, and her fiancé, actor Sam Milby, recently put an end to swirling rumors of a breakup as they attended an industry event in support of their friend and fellow celebrity, Isabel Oli.
The couple’s presence at the trade-launch gathering event at BSK Club Manila in Taguig on Saturday, February 24, served as a subtle yet powerful statement, contradicting recent speculations.
In an Instagram story capturing the event, Catriona and Sam were photographed alongside Isabel Oli and her husband, John Prats.
The images showcased the engaged couple seated beside each other, dispelling rumors of a split.
The attendance at the event follows recent rumors sparked by talent manager Ogie Diaz, who claimed in his vlog that Catriona and Sam had already parted ways but remained friends, citing an anonymous source.
Ogie Diaz stated, “Wala na sila. Noong birthday ni Catriona Gray wala na sila, pero magkaibigan na lamang daw,” highlighting his commitment to believing the news only when confirmed by the couple themselves.
Despite the speculations, Catriona Gray and Sam Milby have consistently shown a united front.
Adding further weight to their commitment, Sam Milby threw a debut-like 30th birthday party for Catriona on Saturday, January 6.
The couple, who went Instagram official in 2020, got engaged in February 2023 and are slated to tie the knot later this year, putting to rest any doubts about the strength of their relationship.
As the engaged duo continues to share their journey on social media, fans can anticipate more glimpses of their love story in the days to come.
