Cagayan de Oro City recorded a total of 178 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, June 21.

Over the weekend of June 19-20, the city health logged a total of 178 new infections, composed of 118 local index cases, 48 local cases with link, five local APORs, four local APORs with link, and three deaths.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 9,458 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 1,382 are active cases, 325 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and 1,057 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).

Dr. Nery also announced a total of 353 new recoveries and five deaths (including two previously reported cases), bringing the total recovery and death cases to 7,655 and 421, respectively.
