Cagayan de Oro City reported 147 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, May 24, 2021.
BREAKDOWN: On May 22, the city logged 73 new confirmed cases, of which 28 local index, ten local cases with link, seven local APOR, one local APOR with link, one locally stranded individual, 22 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), and four deaths. Meanwhile, on May 23, the city has recorded 74 new confirmed cases, of which 35 local index cases, 27 local cases with link, seven local APOR, and five local APOR with link.
With this, the city has a total cumulative of 6,469 COVID-19 cases.
Out of the total cumulative, 1006 are active cases, 276 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and 730 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).
Dr. Nery also announced 96 new recoveries and seven deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 5,188 and 275 respectively.
