Cagayan de Oro City reported 73 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, May 21, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 73 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, 25 of which are local cases with known links, eight local APORs, 26 local index cases, 11 persons deprived of liberty (PDL), and three deaths.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 6,252 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 967 are active cases, 249 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) and 718 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF).

Dr. Nery also announced 100 new recoveries and four deaths, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 5,021 and 264, respectively.
