Cagayan de Oro City reported 33 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, April 23, 2021.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city logged 33 new confirmed cases as of 10 PM yesterday, nine of which are local cases with links, 15 local APORs, and nine local index cases.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 4,593 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 352 are active cases, 136 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 211 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and five cases under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 16 new recoveries and one new death, bringing the total recovery and death cases to 4,036 and 205 respectively.
