The city logged two new COVID-19 cases on April 23 and 24. There are now 9 active cases in the city with a total cumulative of 25,835 COVID-19 cases since March 2020.

Breakdown: For the Saturday new cases, two new cases were recorded. Two are local index. Meanwhile, on Sunday, no new cases were recorded.

Out of the total cumulative, 6 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 3 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and no cases under the ROF/LSI category.

The city also logged five new recoveries (Two on Saturday and Three on Sunday) and no new death, bringing the total recoveries and death cases to 24,884 and 939, respectively.
