Cagayan de Oro City reported a total of 17 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Tuesday, October 5.

BREAKDOWN: On October 4, the city logged 17 new confirmed cases, of which 10 are local index cases, three local cases with link, two local APOR cases, one APOR cases with link, and one locally stranded individual.

With this, the city has a total cumulative of 19,662 COVID-19 cases.

Out of the total cumulative, 2,028 are active cases, 519 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 1,495 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and 14 patients under the ROF/LSI category.

The city also announced a total of 229 new recoveries and no new death, bringing the total recovery and deaths cases to 16,806 and 828 respectively.
