Cagayan de Oro City reported 54 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Monday, February 8.
In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded a total of 54 new cases over the weekend. A total of 18 new cases were recorded on Saturday, February 6. One of which is a returning overseas Filipino (ROF), five local cases with link, seven local APORs, and five local index cases. Meanwhile, the city logged a total of 36 new cases on Sunday, February 7, of which 13 are local cases with link, six are local APORs, and 17 are local index cases.
With this, the total cumulative cases in the city now rise to 3,476.
Out of the cumulative total, 306 are active cases, 71 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 231 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and four case under the ROF/LSI category.
Dr. Nery also announced 20 new recoveries and no new death, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,995 and 175, respectively.
Of the cumulative total, 422 are under the LSI/ROF category, with four active cases, three death (ROF), and 417 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 3,054 with 231 active cases, 174 deaths, and 2,578 recoveries.
