Cagayan de Oro City reported 31 new confirmed cases for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on Friday, February 5.

In today’s press briefing, City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said the city recorded a total of 31 new cases yesterday evening, nine of which are local cases with links and 22 local index cases.

With this, the total cumulative cases in the city now rise to 3,393.

Out of the cumulative total, 249 are active cases, 80 are currently admitted at Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC), 166 outpatients staying at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), and three case under the ROF/LSI category.

Dr. Nery also announced 14 new recoveries and two new deaths, bringing the total recovery and death toll to 2,969 and 175, respectively.

Of the cumulative total, 421 are under the LSI/ROF category, with three active cases, three death (ROF), and 417 recovered. Meanwhile, local cases rise to 2,972 with 166 active cases, 174 deaths, and 2,552 recoveries.
